How to Get 0 Interest Credit Cards

Are you curious to know how you can get one of those great 0 interest credit cards like what your friends all have?  Do you want to know what it really takes to get a credit card that does not have any interest charge on it at all?  There are ways to get the type of card you are looking for and you need to know that if you are after one of the zero APR credit cards, then you will need to fit a certain criteria.  Here is what it will take to get your credit card with a 0 percent APR.

First, the most important part of getting a credit card with a low interest rate or with no interest rate is your credit score.  It is going to take nearly perfect credit for you to get this type of rate, especially with the economy the way it is and the credit card companies trying to squeeze every dime out of the consumers as possible.  This means that if your credit is not really good or perfect, then you need to start thinking about putting together a plan to fix it before you try to get a credit card with no interest.

Second, another way to go about getting 0 interest credit cards is to only stay with a credit card company for about 6 months to a year.  This will be the period where they offer the zero percent interest rate before they raise it on you.  This is not hard to do since you can transfer your balance from one card to another when the time comes and this is pretty easy to do.  This is one of the tricks you can use to always have the 0 interest credit cards in your wallet instead of the ones with a rate in the teens.

Last, if you really want to be able to never have a high interest rate, then you need to know how to negotiate to get 0 percent credit cards.  This is not unheard of, but most of the people that apply for credit from credit card companies have no idea that they can call up and negotiate with them.  If you threaten to leave if they raise your rate, then they might just help you out by leaving your rate at 0 so that they remain a customer with them and not with one of the other large companies that you can choose from.
